Liverpool X IMA

For one of my university modules, I worked with Inter Marketing Agency (IMA) on a collaborative project, creating a fake re-branding for a sustainable retail product. I chose to re-brand Liverpool’s 2020/21 Vapour Match Kit, because it was Nike’s first sustainable football kit and was made entirely from recycled plastic bottles. I was tasked with designing and creating the billboards, seat coverings and the shop front. ‘Red is the new Green’ is the overraching slogan used in the campaign and seen on all the designs throughout.

Billboards

These billboards were created to promote the kit to travelling Liverpool fans. Each billboard includes players from the Liverpool squad and the overarching slogan ‘Red is the New Green’.

Seat Covers

Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, football fans weren’t allowed to go to games and into the stadium and was forced to watch the games from home. So to promote the kit, I made seat covers that included QR codes that people could scan through their TV. This QR code would take them to the Liverpool website were they could access the kit and learn more about it.

Shop Front

This is a billboard to go on the front of the Liverpool F.C club store, further promoting the kit to the fans.

Advert

For the final part of the campaign, I created an advert using different clips and images about the Liverpool kit. Again, promoting its sustainability aspect to people watching it on TV or online.
